Off-Set Printing Operator

Off-Set Printing Lead 

Our client is a high speed plastic container manufacturing company based in Jacksonville TX and are seeking an off-set printing operator.

Requirements

Qualifications/Skills and Knowledge Requirements include but not limited to:

• Be completely familiar with all safety features on all printers.
• Must have experience in either Desco, Van Dam, Polytypes or Wifag printers.
• Knowing where all the emergency stop and how to power up the machines.
• Knowing all the buttons on the control panel on the printer, loader, and restack what it's for.
• Perform mandrel change, plate change, and color change. Following print procedure according to the print guide.
• Experience in setting the proper height and V-specs on the print according to the work order.
• Performing tape test every hour.
• Pulling 10 samples on every job that is setup and filling out the setup check list.
• Making sure the samples are checked and signed by supervisor.
• Changing the job, V-specs, and height in the computer.
• Checking the work order for the drawing number and matching the drawing number on the plate.
• Making all the necessary adjustments after each changeover.
• Troubleshooting any problems on the machine.
• Checking every machine for ink and filling up the ink tray if it's needed.
• Checking each machine every hour for V-spec, quality, and logging it in the computer.
• Checking each machine for crack test every hour and logging it in the computer.
• Setting up the tower lift for the right size pots. Keep areas of work safe and clean at all times.
• Follow proper Lockout-Tag out Procedures. (Authorized)
